The ATRA and our Promoters take the issue of animal welfare very seriously, particularly as it relates to the running of our timed events, schools, clinics and our National Finals.
In particular, the ATRA and our Promoters have an ongoing commitment to:

protect the welfare of animals used in our timed events, schools, clinics and our National Finals

ensure event officials and other persons are aware of their responsibilities when conducting our timed events, schools, clinics and our National Finals

provide requirements for equipment used at our timed events, schools, clinics and our National Final's facilities such as arenas, yards and chutes

outline the key requirements for competitors and other people handling and caring for animals used in our timed events, schools, clinics and our National Final.
In addition, all of our timed events, schools, clinics and our National Finals, are run in strict accordance with the various State and Territory legislative requirements.
