2026 ATRA CIRCLE L AUSTRALIA National Finals at BRIDGEMAN PARK, CAPELLA, QLD
The 2026 ATRA Circle L Australia National will be held at Bridgeman Pak, Capella over five days between 30 September - 4 October 2026.

With nearly $260,000 in Prize Money paid out in 2025, the ATRA Board was excited to provide Posted Prize Money in 2026 that included:
👉 OPEN TEAM ROPING = $10,000 POSTED
👉 OPEN TEAM ROPING - #10s INCENTIVE = $3,000 POSTED
👉 #12s TEAM ROPING = $4,000 POSTED
👉 #10s TEAM ROPING = $3,000 POSTED
👉 #8s TEAM ROPING = $3,000 POSTED

ATRA Members can qualify for the 2026 ATRA Circle L Australia National Finals by competing in at least four (4) ATRA Affiliated Jackpots between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026. Please note that if you competed in the Preliminary Ropings on Wednesday, 1 October 2025 at the 2025 ATRA Circle L National Finals, that qualifies as one (1) Jackpot of the required four (4).

Can I compete if I didn't attend an ATRA event between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026? You are not eligible to compete in National Finals events. However, you may compete in: • Preliminary Events • Century Team Roping • Kings & Queens • All Girls Team Roping • 7 & Under Barrel Race • Steer Wrestling • Rope & Tie
Is the National Finals a sudden death format? Yes. All finalists start the competition on zero points.
Do heelers have to dally? Yes. All heelers must dally. • Ladies and competitors aged 50 years or older may tie on using an ATRA approved quick release device. • Parents & guardians are responsible for ensuring junior competitors can dally.
Can I enter with a "TBA" or "Nobody" partner? No. All entries must include your confirmed partner to be accepted.
What happens if I withdraw? More than 14 days before Finals - 100% refund less a $50 administration fee Within 14 days - Entry fees are non-refundable unless accompanied by a veterinary or medical certificate.
What string is used in Breakaway? Three pieces of heavy-duty jute string must be used.
If I qualify through the Preliminary with my current Finals partner, can I substitute another partner? No. You may only advance with a different partner who: • is already qualified for the Finals • you have entered a different way around to your finals entry eg. Heading/heeling
