Thompson Texas Longhorns is a longhorn stud formed by Mark & Kate Thompson in 2022 after purchasing some foundation stock from some great breeders from across Australia. Mark has always had a passion for these cattle given he competes in steer wrestling & team roping at rodeos. For Kate, she is an animal lover, a veterinarian and owner of AAA Vet Clinic in Mt Isa.

Their stud carries many lines from across Australia and the USA – with their own progeny sired by their handsome bull named Chexter, whose dad is Sam Chex 708 (a very well-known bull in the USA). Thompson Texas Longhorns are always keen to speak to those interested in buying stock throughout the year - and welcome inspections should you be interested in their stock.
